Toronto, Ontario, Canada, July 17, 2019 – Raja Technologies Inc. has successfully obtained US Patent 10,352,989 on its Probabilyze semiconductor characterization technology. Raja Technologies Inc. currently holds US Patent 9,002,677 which concerns the same technology. Raja Technologies Inc. successfully overcame an abstract idea or “Alice” rejection from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to obtain US Patent 10,352,989.

According to Raja Technologies Inc. CEO Dr. Ramesh Rajaduray, "This is a clear demonstration of the novelty and inventiveness of the Probabilyze technology in the field of semiconductor characterization. Raja Technologies Inc. would like to thank Stephen Rudisill and Justin Swindells of Nixon Peabody for their assistance in obtaining this patent. Raja Technologies Inc. would also like to thank the USPTO and in particular new USPTO Director Andrei Iancu for the improved guidance which has helped reduce uncertainty around abstract idea rejections."

Dr. Rajaduray added, "The seeds for the Probabilyze technology were sown in an undergraduate honours project. The ideas and learning gained from that honours project were used to create and develop the Probabilyze offering."

Raja Technologies Inc. would also like to thank the University of Western Australia (UWA) Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering (EECE) department administration for their assistance in obtaining this patent.
